 WHO ARE WE

Dedicated to exposing Black and/or African American male youth to opportunity.

We believe what you are exposed to can create a new life path. When you have a program tailored to your specific identity can make the world open up to you and experience things you never thought were possible.

WHY WE DO IT

Only 2% of African American students attend a high performing and opportunity school compared to 59% of white students.

Only 22% of African American students attend schools where the majority of graduates in their racial group are UC/USC eligible compared to 58% of white students.

1 in 7 African American students is enrolled in an advanced STEM course compared to 1 in 3 white students.

Over 50% of African American students attend schools where at least 1 in 10 African American students are suspended, compared to only 8% of white students attending a school with similar suspension rates.
